Lewis Kingsley – Piano

Based in both London and Manchester, two of the UK's most exciting and vibrant cities, Lewis enjoys a busy life as a working musician. Organising projects as both soloist and collaborator, he programmes a wide variety of music from the traditional classical canon, right through to jazz and the avant-garde. With a strong background in theatre, his appearances are never without verve.
Lewis is also a passionate educator. With an enthusiasm for the craft of practice, a topic that he can often be heard discussing with great fervour, he enjoys working with a variety of students, encouraging them to develop into efficient and independent musicians. He provides people with the essential tools to live their musical lives freely and individually, whether they wish to pursue a career in music, or relish in the joys of personal music-making.
Lewis is a Chethams School of Music alumnus and recent graduate of London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire where he studied with Philip Fowke and Alisdair Hogarth.
Lewis is also a passionate educator. Maja Horvat - violin

Piano Trio Taliesin

Trio Taliesin present two striking B flat major works which were written less than fifty years apart. Both were dedicated to royal patrons and both were premiered with the composer himself at the piano.
However, their reception and longevity were quite opposite. Beethoven's performance of the 'Archduke' in Vienna in 1811 was met with harsh criticism and heralded the end of Beethoven's career as a performer (though certainly not as a composer!) but the trio lived on in the canon and is still widely performed and enjoyed today. Rubinstein performed of his trio in London in 1857 to huge acclaim: both the work and performance were a resounding success, and yet his trio had fallen out of fashion within half a century of its premiere.
Come and hear both of these grand trios and decide for yourself which is your favourite B flat!

Stavroula Thoma - Piano

Stavroula Thoma is a Cypriot pianist who has performed across Europe. She is well acknowledged for her vivid sense of communication, warmth and lyricism in her music making.
Stavroula has performed concerts in major concert venues and festivals such as: International Kodály Festival, Kecskemet, (Hungary), Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Musica Als Parks (Barcelona), Frontiers Festival (Birmingham), Classical Music Festival (Larnaca), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Steinway Hall
(London), The Palace of Arts (Budapest), Adrian Boult Hall (Birmingham), St James Piccadilly.
At the age of 11 years old, Stavroula won the second prize in the Evaggelia Tziarri International Piano competition. During her undergraduate studies at Royal Holloway University of London, Stavroula was a scholar of Georgiou and Maria Tirimou’s foundation. She was awarded the Marzorie
Hulzehurst Piano award and was also a full Joseph Weingarten scholar at the Liszt Academy of Music
in 2012-14.
Equally, Stavroula enjoys passing on her passion and knowledge of the piano to her numerous
students based in London.

Catherine Underhill – Oboe

Catherine Underhill is a British oboist and cor anglais player.
Performances have taken Catherine across the UK and to Europe, in concert halls and theatres, including Cadogan Hall and the Mayflower Theatre. She has played in France, the Netherlands and with the Berlin Opera Academy in Switzerland. Catherine has given recitals for the Iris Axon Concert Series, in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel and at Southwark Cathedral. As a soloist, she has performed with the Marcello Oboe Concerto and she is a member of Hacha Duo (bass clarinet and cor anglais). Catherine has performed in masterclasses for Juliana Koch and Tom Blomfield and received a scholarship to study with David Theodore at the British Isles Music Festival.
Catherine plays a Marigaux 2001 oboe and a Lorée cor anglais.

Petar Dimov – Piano

Petar Dimov is a Bulgarian pianist and composer based in London. He was a scholar at the Royal College of Music in London from 2014 to 2020 in the piano class of Norma Fisher, obtaining a Master of Performance degree with Distinction in 2020 and a Bachelor of Music degree with Honours in 2018. His musical education began in his native Plovdiv (Bulgaria) where he studied with Svetlana Koseva until his graduation in 2014.
Dimov has won over twenty prizes from International competitions and has performed in Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Turkey and the UK.
As a composer, Petar Dimov has had output for orchestra, chorus, various solo instruments and chamber ensembles.
Dimov is currently supported by the Talent Unlimited foundation.
Dimov has won over twenty prizes from International competitions and has performed in Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Turkey and the UK.

Lance Mok – Piano

Lance Mok is a pianist and composer based in London. He was born and raised in Hong Kong. “A fine musician with searching intelligence and very personable […] an adventurer” (FringeReview, 2020), Lance is noted for his interest and mastery of a wide repertoire of diverse styles and advocacy of contemporary music as well as slightly neglected works by past composers.
Lance’s versatile performance career as a recital and concerto soloist, collaborative pianist, répétieur, and chamber musician has brought him around the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, to Finland, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan, Macau, and the United States. His performances have been broadcast by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) and Television Broadcasts Ltd.

Ida Pelliccioli - Piano

Ida Pelliccioli was born in Bergamo, Italy. She studied at the Nice Conservatoire de Région and at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot in the class of Serguei Markarov, Unesco Artist for Peace. During her studies, Ida Pelliccioli was awarded several scholarships, amongst them, one from the Zygmunt Zaleski Foundation and one from Fondation Albert Roussel. Ida chose to avoid the international competition circuit and, before becoming a full-time pianist, received a double master diploma at the Sorbonne University - in Italian Literature and in Ancient Greek History, specializing for the latter in the practice of music during the Hellenistic period. Ida has been performing troughout Europe. She has made her debut in Norway, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain and Canada in 2019 and will debut in the US and Estonia in 2020.
