Hannah Shilvock & Viola Lenzi present a 60 minute recital of music for bass clarinet and piano

Hannah is a clarinet and bass clarinet specialist, woodwind doubler and yoga teacher living in Brighton. She is passionate about promoting the bass clarinet as a virtuosic solo instrument, and has a large repertoire list of mostly contemporary works.
Hannah completed a Masters in Bass Clarinet Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with Distinction in 2020, where she was a scholar for the two years and was awarded with the Wilfred Hambleton Chamber Music Prize. She received a First Class Honours Bachelor of Music from the University Of Southampton in 2018, and was awarded the Peter Evans Prize for performance excellence.
In 2019, Hannah was a finalist in the first ever Silverstein Global Clarinet Contest, and has been named one of their ‘artists of the next generation’. In 2021 Hannah was a Bronze Award Winner for her performance in the Tunbridge Wells Interim International Music Competition, and most recently in 2022 was a finalist in the ERSO Soloist Of The Year competition with Michele Mangani’s Bass Clarinet concerto.
Hannah is a BG France and RATstands artist, and has recently published her arrangement of Debussy’s Cello Sonata arr. for bass clarinet and piano, with Alea Publishing.

We are on the corner of the Uxbridge Road and Gunnersbury Lane, W3, opposite Acton police station. Ten minutes walk form Acton Town tube station – District (Ealing Broadway) and Piccadilly lines. Front main entrance is on Gunnersbury Lane, turn right and walk down to the T-junction, turn right and the church is a twenty yards on your right.
Parking in Morrisons’ car park diagonally opposite (up to 1 hour before 4pm and unlimited thereafter). Street parking on Steyne Road (opposite), limited parking in Woodlands Avenue down the side of the church. Beware of the dropped curb at the end as parking tickets are issued on Sundays! |
