Israeli violinist Solomon Markman made his concerto debut with the Jerusalem Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra at the age of eleven. Since then, he won several Israeli competitions and participated in educational programmes as a soloist and chamber musician. He received masterclasses from world renown artists such as Ivry Gitlis, Maxim Vengerov, Ilya Kaler and Alina Ibragimova.
In 2021 Solomon was awarded a First for his Undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music London. In September 2022, he completed his Master of Music in Performance with distinction, also at the RCM. As a teacher, Solomon has been a Young Faculty member at the 24th edition of the Musica Mundi festival.He is very proud to be part of the Live Music Now organisation that brings music to care homes, schools, hospitals and to all those who are unable to physically visit the concert hall. In January 2023 Solomon joined the first violins of the Dresdner Philharmonie Orchestra. Highlights of the 2023 season include a performance at the 25th Anniversary concert of the Musica Mundi Festival at most important concert hall in Belgium, the Palais de Beaux Arts in Brussels. |
South Korean pianist Seonghyeon Leem is a laureate of numerous international competitions. A recent first prize winner (as well as three additional prizes) of the 2022, 5th International Piano Competition Istanbul Orchestra’ Sion. She made her European debut in the Mozarthaus Konzertsaal Vienna and toured with concerts in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland. As a soloist Seonghyeon collaborated with renown conductors and orchestras in Europe and South Korea. She received masterclasses from renown musicians such as Paul Badura-Skoda, Menahem Pressler, and Arie Vardi.
An active chamber musician Seonghyeon will record a CD of Ferdinand Thieriot’s piano trio with the London Toccata Classics Music Group. A graduate of the Seoul National University, in 2017 Seonghyeon moved to Salzburg, Austria to pursue her Masters and Postgraduate degrees at the Mozarteum University, in the class of Prof. Jacque Rouvier. Last October 2022 Seonghyeon performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Mozarteum University Symphony Orchestra and conductor Ion Marin at the Salzburg Festival concert hall in Salzburg, Austria. Highlights of the 2023 season include a performance of the Ravel G Major concerto with the South West German Philharmonie at the Young Masters Pianist Festival in Bregenz. |

We are on the corner of the Uxbridge Road and Gunnersbury Lane, W3, opposite Acton police station. Ten minutes walk form Acton Town tube station – District (Ealing Broadway) and Piccadilly lines. Front main entrance is on Gunnersbury Lane, turn right and walk down to the T-junction, turn right and the church is a twenty yards on your right.
Parking in Morrisons’ car park diagonally opposite (up to 1 hour before 4pm and unlimited thereafter). Street parking on Steyne Road (opposite), limited parking in Woodlands Avenue down the side of the church. Beware of the dropped curb at the end as parking tickets are issued on Sundays! |
